Meetings

A major mandate of TraitNet, as a function of being a RCN (Research Coordination Network), is to organize meetings and workshops. The main agenda for these meetings and workshops are to further thought and discussion in improving the storage, transfer, longevity and discovery of trait-research data. 

TraitNet has organized, or helped to organize, three meetings and workshops:

1. TraitNet 1 - Dec. 7-9, 2007, New York, USA, 2007

2. Trait Ontology Workshop - Nov. 4-6, 2009, Montpellier, France, 2009

3. Biennial meeting of DIVERSITAS EcoServices Steering Committee - Mar. 5-7, New York, USA, 2010
